fudgy chocolate brownies (gf)

here comes 2017...happy almost new year! this year has flown by, so welcome 2017 with a party. and what could be better for a new year's party than warm, fudgy, chocolate brownies? these scrumptious goodies are easy to make and delicious to eat. enjoy!

serves 25

dry

1/2 c. almond flour

1/4 c. date sugar

3/4 c. turbinado cane sugar

1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. baking powder

wet

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil

how to enjoy these fudgy goodies:

  • preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit and line a 9x9-inch (or 8x8-inch) baking dish with parchment paper.

  • in a medium bowl whisk together almond flour, sugars, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.

  • in a small bowl whisk together eggs, vanilla extract, and olive oil. combine the wet ingredients with the dry, and whisk together until incorporated.

  • pour the batter into the baking dish and cook for 23-25 minutes. enjoy!
