winter frost smoothie
it's getting cold out there, but not so cold that you can't enjoy one last smoothie...this healthy drink is a clean snack that provides energy for your day. it provides a great source of good fats and has low sugar, making it useful for those who need to be aware of sugar intake, or anyone who wants to eat healthier. enjoy!
serves 3
3 brazil nuts
1 c. blueberries (fresh or frozen)
2 tsp. pomegranate seeds
1 tbsp. chia seeds
1 tbsp. hemp seeds
1 c. water
1/2 c. almond milk
2 tbsp. almond butter
1 tbsp. coconut oil
3 ice cubes
how to enjoy this frosty wonder:
in a blender place ice cubes, almond milk and water. next add blueberries, brazil nuts, all seeds, almond butter, and coconut oil. blend until smooth, if smoothie is too thick add little amount of water at a time until it has reached your desired consistency.
pour in a glass, sip, and enjoy!
